i was driving down 99th today at about 3:45 pm and saw this civic pulled over looked like the wheel fell off but i donno any one know what happened???
took the pic with my new camra phone i think the quality is pretty good

| Maybe rear hub bearing failure. Had one go bad on the rear of my 96 civic hatch. |

| maybe someone didnt like him and un bolted his lug nuts ..not all the way but just enough for him to drive and then fall off hah |

| i seen that same one at like 5:30 in the mc donalds parking lot of 99th street and 34th ave, all wheels were on the car, i think its a cool idea 4 a paint job! |

Tip:
When you mount your alloys, retorque them again after 100km. They have a tendancy to come loose. This happened to my buddy's Tibby GT on the way to Sask. last summer. |

I saw that car downtown yesterday afternoon. My guess is about 2:45 pm ripping around corners. If it was spotted later with the wheels on, my guess is that it just came loose.
Agreed: re-torque after 100 KM with a torque wrench! I think the average is 150 lbs. Somebody jump in here if they know otherwise.

| I've torqued my own wheels on by hand and havent had any mishaps yet.. better double check. |

| One of my buddys tires did that when your tourqing the nuts if you over toruqe them they will get loose after a while of unproper installation. |
