I'm stuck atm, as to which tire to run this year on the street. I have my hoosier's mounted on seperate rims for the track but ordinary T/A's are almost a complete waste of time anything less then a 2nd gear roll on. With the added power I plan on making here this summer its just gonna get worse.
Leaves me with 3 choices as I see it.
ET Streets, BFG Dr's or Nitto's.
I'm gonna discount the ET streets simply because of the number of miles and places I drive the car.
So between the two dr's, has any one of you run both? Comparisons? Which set did you prefer, traction, handling, mileage?
Is there any dealers you would recommend outside of Fasttech that could hook me up with some prices/opinions? |

| Racer RX was running nittos at one of the events last time and said they weren't very good.... I don't know anyone else that does, ask him :) |

General rules of thumb...
Bfg's hook a bit better, but don't last as long
Nittos last longer but don't hook as well.
Either way you can't expect them to work as well as a true "slick". I have seen some turbo buicks hook very well with BFGs though, 1.7ish 60's. Of course they run a tire with a large sidewall and all the tweaks to the suspension.
No matter how you slice it a small aspect ratio tire will not hook all that great. It is more of a compomise.
That being said, I like my BFG's. All four of em :D
