The system looks really nice, and the install looks good too. :)
The only thing I don't like is that the purple doesn't seem to go with the dark red exterior color. Are you planning on painting the car? If not, I would have done the fiberglass in the exact color of the car.

Lets see.. I used a full sheet of 3/4 MDF, and a full sheet is 75lbs. Oh and you don't see 1/2 of the box... Plus the box is re-enforced on the inside with resin to seal the joints.
And my subs aren't little, they may be 10" but have a 94oz magnet on each. Plus they don't have a standard whimpy alum basket.

Yep, actually it better. With heavy subs alone thats alot of strain on the glass and with vibration and pounding.... eek. He probably has a frame. |

Its pretty much his choice to put 300lb of audio equipment into his FD i think it looks pimp. If he doesnt care about his quarter mile times or if he even races the car for that matter. :bthumbup:

Actually there is :P it's called noise pollution. And noise by-laws.
But I know where your coming from... the system I posted a pic of at the top of this page hit 145.5db in that Neon. I took it outta the neon cause I was driving the neon like it didn't have a stereo and the rear suspension started making noise.... Once I beef up, or rather fix the rear of the fifth it's going in there. |

Actually the noise bylaw is all day, just depends on the cop. I cranked a sine sweep, I did it at WEM too at one of the meets, Beside a couple of foot cops on whyte ave, heh they just looked at me funny. Unless your being a dick and cranking it sitting still in a residential neighbour hood, or driving circles... you'll be fine...
But technically you can get a ticket for it, it's completely discressionary, so certain DB you have to meet or anything.
I normally turn down the stereo, well in the neon around cops, cause well my amp pulls well over 150A, and my Alt only puts out 106A, thus my lights tend to strobe, never mind flash or dim. I actually got pulled over once on the highway for impersonating an emergancy vehicle. Once I explained and said I'd turn it down they didn't give me a ticket. |

| haha. don't worry, my car resets itself ALL THE TIME. My amp just will not keep up with it, my lights dim, i have to reset all my eq. it's so gay and yea i turn it down on whyte ave and shit but noone is really gonna pull me over for a loud stereo and if it happened i'd be like you GOTTA see it and hear it tho |

Yeah iv gotten some funny looks from some officers well considering im driving a buick :P but overall the cops have been pretty good about it. I usually dont pound it in residential besides you get listening fatigue if you listen to your music too loud for a long time kinda sucks not too mention the ringing in the ears thats a fun one.
