ive been thinking about getting one for the last few months and now that i need a new slave cylinder, i guess i may as well break down and get one.
the lines are high quality braided SS, made by technafit, and they are avaliable for both W58s and R154s, so you mkIII guys arent excluded. :)
ive been quoted $28.85 for the line, fairly sure it was US$, but it did include shipping.
im thinking if a few people get in on this, he would probably drop the price.
im trying to get details, but its tough to sell a GB without knowing how many people might be interested. |

| i have one, they are very nice, still haven't put it on cuz i'm lazy. |

| Other than the bling factor I don't see a reason for them...count me in. I spend more time under the car than in it so I might as well make it nice inder there. I see a disco ball differential mod coming soon. |

they give a bit nicer pedal feel... not a big thing, but if your trying to launch it could definitely be a factor.
plus hey, go ask toyota for the cost on a factory line ;) im sure this will make sense then, lol. |

I'd be interested in one, Barry. Have you considered adding their brake line kit as well? The same kit will fit my car and MK2's. This would eliminate all rubber hose from the hydraulic systems, reducing potential problems. Firms up the brakes as well.

ok, details... details are good.
talking to Aaron right now, he says that for four clutch lines, or a similar quantity, we would be looking at $20/each plus shipping.
us dollars of course, but a good price.
he also has numerous custom and maintenance parts on his site www.rabidchimp.com.
so far weve got:
Dogstar
HeavyEarly87T
celica83_gts (TOY-1128)
ps: bob, i actually put stainless lines on with my brakejob two weeks ago... i agree, very nice. :) |

| if only i had waited, lol, oh well i like them, i suggest that anyone that can afford to do it should. they look nice, the pedal feel is great and using DOT 4 and speed bleeders as barry did made bleeding easy and braking power very nice. |

| Oops, I said the same brakeline kits fit Supras and Celicas. Technafit has different part#'s for them, there must be some reason. The Celica GTS part is TOY-1128, the Supra part is TOY-1340. Don't know the difference, though I'd guess it's at the front wheels. |

| Aaron can get any lines you want, he orders most from them direct as a supplier, he gets them within 4 bussiness days, then he ships them out, he can get lines for a lawnmower if you give him lengths, lol. And if your ordering new then he can and will give you a good deal especially if we do a GB. in fact i want his oil line set for myself for when i go turbo. so hook me up doggie. |
