My accord is still pretty stock. What mods do you think I should get? I have an 88 Accord LX. I was thinking of getting a whole new exhast, right from headers to tip. Next comes the window tint. Any suggestions???

Have you thought about an EFI swap? Ups crank HP by 22hp. I have all the stock stuff well most if your interested. From being efi you can go alot of different roots Im a turbo junkie lol, thats why I say efi.

whats an EFI swap? im sorry, im not all up to date with these things haha.

se-i
Right now your carberated so efi swap is fuel injected. Some people like carbs but I personlly like fuel injection, Are you a member on www.3geez.com ?

hmmmm. is it easy to do? cost? :dunno:

se-i
Cost is cheap manly junk yard parts. I have most the stuff I can let go for next to nothing how about a donation towards the new site. I have the intake mani, injectors, tb, fuel rail um I think thats what I all have.

Fuel injected is the way to go.

My car is sitting stock right now too. First thing I'm gonna do is paint the mouldings the same color as the car, and get a set of rims. What color is your car? Have you done anything with the lights?

onestepback
My car is blue. I havent done anything with the lights, but now that you mention it..... How hard is it to take off the mouldings?? Im thinkin about painting them.

panicattack
I'm not sure, but I've seen and heard about it being done before. Not even sure how much it'd cost. Sure makes the car look a lot slicker though. Might have to get it matched though, if it's the original blue paint I imagine it's faded quite a bit over 16 or 17 years, so getting the code for the color may not result in a good match. I'm gonna do some phoning around tomorrow, I'll let you know about estimates etc.

Unfortunately I don't think I'm handy enough to do a custom tail light job, so I imagine I'll just red them out. I wish I could find some decent before/after pics of red lights...

what style lights are up there now? pic? :dunno:
