Where to get exhaust in Edmonton? - Click HERE for Original Thread

xSilv3Rx
Hi,

Im looking to get a new exhaust for my '92 Integra. Im most likely interested in a full cat back. What are some good exhausts? How wide would you recommend the pipe be? Anyone know of some good places in Edmonton to buy and/or install? Also, if anyone has a general idea of the price I should be expecting for the exhaust and install that'd be great. :)

Thanks

Get it custom made, by someone who can weld, or buy it. Stay clear of Zippys.

ALTA custom exhaust by Kings Collage on 50st. Ask for Chico he will hook you up. Just tell him that the guy with the orange rx7 sent you.

Agreed,

Chico installed my RT Downpipe, HKS Dragger. He has also installed the exhaust on a few of my rides. The man does great work.

Thanks, I'll check that place out. Any idea on what I should expect for the price? Or is there a big difference depending on what I want done?

Go Chico!! :)

I went in to have some new exhaust hangers put in since the location of the old ones was making the exhaust that I had put in touch my rear add-ons..

they had fixed it initially but on my way home the exhaust settled and ended up touching the rear-add ons again..

After my finding that I was having the same problem again I immediately drove back .. honestly not excepting to be taken back that same day since they we're pretty close to closing time.

When I arrived there was only 10 minutes left before they shut down for the day but Chico made it priority that I be taken care off instead of sending me home.. this time they were able to fix the exhaust indefinitely .

kinda sucks also if I had to come back since I live way in the northside..

for Chico and all the guys at Alta Custom

Clayton at ABC is really good IMO. I have been there a few times with no problems.

And I find it funny so many people like Alta Custom.... I went there one time to have a broken flex pipe fixed, and I was told $120. Seemed about right because I had paid 100 bucks a few years before at ABC. I go to pick up my car and when I went to pay for it I was told it was approx (don't remember exact dollar) $200. I was like wtf? I was told 120. Then I was told that was just the part and not the labor. Well I was pissed, but didn't want make too big of a deal about it so I paid and went to leave.

My car was outside and it was nice outside, but about an hour earlier it had poured rain and they had my car parked out front with the passenger window all the way down. I actually had about a 1" puddle on the passenger seat and almost everything was soaked. I was really pissed off and went back in and they said "don't worry, it will vacuum out." They asked me to pull the car in the shop and when I did, they showed me where their vacuum was and said I was "allowed to use it". I totally wasn't impressed and told them that is was probably going to have to be aired out for a few days and they said I was making a big deal over nothing.

A few days later it was mostly dry, but the interior of the car smelt like mold. It was so bad I couldn't stand to be in the car. Phoned them back to arrange to have them pay a detail shop to properly clean in the interior and long story short, after lots of time and my money, they did nothing. And I believe Chico was the guy too (if he was around a few years ago).

Either way, that is my long winded way of saying I would never go to Alta Custom Exhaust and I would never recommend that place to any one for any reason. :thumbsdow
