Sorry man, but I have to say flat out No, Edmonton will not reach that level.
Edmonton is not really like a Tokyo or anything you know?
It's not that I am pessimistic. But the I don't see the economic/social conditions here in Edmonton letting such a car show grow to something like the Tokyo Auto Salon.
You know what I mean?
It's not like there are car makers rushing to Edmonton to unveil their next concept car you know? Let alone just bring a concept car here... (well... a concept car that is super rare or something... [b/c the EMDA show did have some concept cars I think...] {but it's not like those concept cars were shown for the first time ever around the world here in Edmonton})

I don't think Edmonton will reach the level anytime soon.
I only go to Edmonton like twice a year. I don't drive around at night or anything, because I go straight to West Ed.
How is the car scene and shops there? |

I agree. Sure, Edmonton will reach that level. We just need the population to explode from 932,600 (areal density of 97.8 people/ square kilometer) to 12,170,000 or a density of 5,565 people/ square kilometer.
Then maybe we might have a scene like Tokyo's... |
