No. He'd destroy me at the track.
Now let me ask you....
Would you only post the link in one section of the forum or two? |
|
|

| Drewman74 |
Well, I did post it in 2 different sections....with 2 different questions. :)

Hi Noriceforme,
I will just add me some NAWZ!!!!
The 2JZ is one that I am considering. If I pop my motor, I think I may transplant a 2JZ. :D

its a muscle car........not an import if you havent noticed......... |
|

| True it is a muscle car, but I have to agree with Tokes. Muscle cars look so much tougher with a low stance and wide rubber tucked in the fender wells. |

What about this guy?

Don't even waste your time.

You do realize that a carb flowing over 750CFM typically points to a 400HP+ car when tuned properly? |
|

So Drew?
You are in Texas? It would be hard to race you from here. I will agree that it is a nice looking car and if it is yours that makes it even better. Just kinda wondering why you post so far away from home?
Too bad cause I would back Mike (Got Boost) in a race with you. I am not sure how it would go but it may not be too much of a stretch thinking it would be a good race. |

Who cares. I want to know the fuel system specs. |

Hi Drewman,
I agree. The muscle cars of the day were, and still are nice cars and do look more agressive with wider rubber and a low stance. I have a cousin in Winnipeg that has a 1967 Challanger. I think that is the year. It is a nice car and has done a few mods. I am not 100% of the stats but he claims it is fast. If I bring my Supra to Winnipeg this year I may have to have a go at him on the local track. :D
I will be taking a few pics.

So what hes got almost that much wheel HP in a car half the wieght! 400hp in a 4000lb car isnt that great. |

Of course not, that's why I own a performance shop.

It's not a 1967 if it is indeed a Challenger. Only possible years: 1970-74, going by advertised production year.
A Charger could have been made in 1967 though. |

You're on crack if you think a first gen F-body weighs that much. |

But it's old and American. It must be at least as heavy as a truck. |

Hi Blane,
Thanks for the clarification. I am fuzzy on what year and what type of car it is exactly. When I go to Winnipeg I will know for sure. I will take some pics and then edit my post.
I know for sure it is not a Charger.

........ if you guys are willing to race a car based on its carb........ hehehehe...... you would be in for a few surprises.
Here is a 780 holley carb...... well with obviously the right combinations ..........uhmmmm and I think it would have no problems taking out every car on this site.

Its an example the car weighs atleast 3200lbs right? Probily closer to 3500+? Well joker if you know so much why dont you post it? Thats right go do a search then come back and post it.
Oh and Iam in no way saying that, that car is slow or ugly or Blain would win I have know clue how fast that thing is. Im a car lover of all makes and models. I have owned 5.0's in the past I have a dodge right now. Im not to familier with mods on V8's so I cant even guess how much power that thing has. The only reason I said anything about HP was because the previest post said a certian carb made a certian amount of power. Again I dont know what that car would make so I posted on what he said. |

I'd race him anyday. Around a corner.
And like I said, I'd forget the carb and check the fuel system. |

haha, all you loosers except a few of you would actually race him with your own vehicle.
But the rest of you, typical ricer responses... :greddy: |

I'd race anyone. In this case, there wouldn't be much of a show, but I'd do it anyway. |

520 HP in a car that weighs 2950 w/driver on slicks and wheelie bars. Yeah, I don't think I would run him for pinks on the street, most likely because that car hasn't seen a street in at least 5 years.
Street cars vs. street cars, kinda like apples vs. apples.
I looked at what "Drew" has and made a deduction by looking at the pictures/specs that I would race him for cash.
The deciding factor for me was the size of the carb.
Do you wanna put money on "Drew"? |
