Anyone hear of trouble on cold air intake. - Click HERE for Original Thread

darkblueangel
Looking to install a cold air intake on a Nissan Altima SE-R 3.5 L, V 6. Wondering if anybody heard of water getting into the engine, or wreaking the engine in anyway. Don't want to blow my engine and I don't have another $10,000 for a new one or blow my warranty.

Later and Thanks :fingersx:

Check out www.n-e-c-c.com. We are all on there now.

An intake shouldn't be a problem. It's not a massive upgrade that you should be worried about. And you should only worry about water if you drive through puddles and the like. One of those blowby valves or whatever they are called are usually suggested for true cold air intakes.
