Hey,
Im going to be moving to Lethbridge in about a month (end of July) I have a few friends who live there already but none who are really into cars, not like where I am now where all my friends are into cars so im looking to get into a car club or something like that and then I found this site while I was searching around the net and was really interested in joining when I get out there. I drive a 2002 Sunfire and I just started modding it last fall so there is not alot done yet but you can check it out at

So ya...Im not sure what else to say right now but hopefully talk to ya later.

Hey man,

Welcome to the club!

Great start on the car, love the wheels! Keep us updated etc. with when you are coming here, we usually meet on Saturday nights on top of the Lethbridge Centre building (you will know where that is once you move here)...very central, great meeting place.

We usually meet with the beyond.ca crew....our clubs are affiliated.

PS. If you need decals of any sort lemme know, I'm the guy to talk to about decals out in these parts

Instinct - Sunfire capital of the world. haha j/k. Car is looking good, any future plans for it?

SLVRBLU
hah yea funny how all of em are 'fires

yellow_fire
Oh man I got tonnes of plans...but not enough $$ right now tho so everythig is going pretty slow. But Im pretty much gonna focus on the suspension and engine now. I recently raced in a autocross event and came in 4th(out of 20) behind 3 pros with a bone stock suspension and mostly stock engine so it makes me wonder how well I can do if I had a little work done to both. But ya pretty much my next steps are to drop it a couple of inches and replace the shocks, sway bar, rear strut brace, and maybe subframe connector. And as for the engine I need to get an intake, header, stuff like that, just a bunch of little stuff ya know.

So how many sunfires are there in Instinct??

SLVRBLU
congrats in the autocross...interesting to hear a stock sunfire can beat out so many other competitors...

where you plan on getting all your suspension stuff done? thats gonna cost a shitload of money lol...what do you plan on going with?

id recommend koni yellow struts/shocks, eibach springs, and eibach sway bar sets...as for front/rear strut bars, im sure vibrant would suffice.

lemme know though where you plan on getting all this stuff from when youre ready, i can get all of it through my sponsors and save you some cash if u want, your call...

there are a few sunfires in here...

Ya I was pretty surprised how well my little car did in the autocross, the competion wasnt to crazy tho other than the 3 pros that showed up to race it was all guys my age (about 20-25yrs old) with civics and a couple of older celica's and vw's and cars like that.

But ya all that suspension work is gonna cost a hell of alot but I figure a little bit at a time and it shouldnt be too bad. SLVRBLU I'll probably take you up on that offer for the cheaper parts too cause saving cash is always a good thing. I tell ya It must be pretty nice to be sponcered.

SLVRBLU
it is the best thing ever my friend

Hey are there any tuner type shops in town here? Like performace and accesories and shit like that. The only place i could find so far was Stay tuned and it looked like it was more car audio and that type of thing...i could be wrong tho i didnt go in cause it was closed.
