Hey guys,

Just wondering where is the best place to go for a detailing job? I hear great things about Ming and I love the idea that they "seal the pores in the paint" lol I don't know the proper method is called but do other detailers seal the pores of the paint, which Ming does? So where is the best place to go?

Thanks

autodetails by grant mac is a lot better than ming.

but do they do the same thing as ming the whole deal with closing the pores of the paint? and how much do they charge for that?

Ming is highly overrated. Don't be hung up on marketing schemes.

ok autodetail it is:bthumbup: and if it costs way to much then i'll have to kill someone, i've seen a lot of ming cars and they looked great! but i've seen autodetails commercial on TV and DAMN i hope i can afford it!

If you like them, try 'em. But there's nothing magic about what Ming does. The basic principles of detailing still apply.

If they try to tell you something different... :read:

JdmCrx

~S20o0~

I work for Auto Details. The address is 11505 105 ave.The whole thing with Ming's "never wax again" thing is that they just put a sealant on the car instead of a wax.You still have to reapply the sealant to the vehicle but usually only twice a year unlike a wax which you must apply multiple times.Bring your car down to the shop, we will have a look at the condition of the paint, answer any questions you have and we can go from there.

ok cool thanks, maybe cut a fellow Z32 a deal lol but i was looking at your site and since you guys do the same thing as ming and more i wanted to go with the Platinum package and the paint sealant for $450 I think it is?

Mings paint sealant is great. All our familie's cars are ming shined and look like a fresh wax just by washing them. However, I'm going to auto details to get the infiniti detailed etc. (It has a ming shine on it with a few small scratches.) Only thing is ming can seal in imperfections. Really small ones but if you look you'll find them..lol

Edwin.. Ming personally came to show me their products..and how to apply them and they are not really worth paying for in my opinion.

just to make sure, the whole scratch removing, polishing to a shine and what not...even that paint sealent is just basic power polishing that auto details does too. correct?

what is autodetails website?
