Just tape them off and do it on the car. I think it will be easist.

when my car was delivered to my house, a few of the mouldings were loose, id just like to say that to remove them i just had to slide them out of those brackets that are holding them from behind, either way se-i' way of doing it is the easiest

This is the first thing I'm doing to my car, and I think it'll be done this week. I'm taking it to a place in St. Albert, and since I know the guy he's doing it for me for free. As far as I know he's removing them first, but I'm not sure how. Are there actually brackets holding them on? I just assumed it was some sort of crazy ass glue.

A friend of mine painted his mouldings on his 88 mustang and ended up screwing them back on with these big tacky screws because he couldnt get them back on properly, so I'm pretty leary of taking them off myself.

Our accords have their moulding attached by several plastic clips. I know that on the two front doors, there is one metal rivet kind of thing that holds it on aswell.

You can see the holes for the plastic clips where my trim piece is missing.
