you need to delete the parental lock password....
here's how to overide the old one.
First you need a DVD that is UNDER the current parental lock.
Something G-rated is pretty well garunteed to work. Think Disney.
Next, when the DVD starts, goto the setup menu and to the parental lock.
Goto change the parental lock, but when you select it, HIT SELECT
such that is says DELETE CURRENT PASSCODE.
It will still need a code, the override code is 7444.
It will then ask you for a new code, put in 0000 or somethign easy
Now, i suggest at this point you DISABLE the parental lock, but if you want to change it, it's up to you.
But that should work just fine. |
