Firts guys i will like to introduse myself.I m from east of Quebec and its been almost 4 years i m here in Alberta Edmonton. Since i m in the military. My english is ok but i still have some time some probleme with it or guys be patient with me..
I like cars since my brother in law gave me a ride of his mustang cobra 89..since that day i was looking for a car who will kick my ask..
I bought an 95 Honda accord 2 doors just because i was anable to find a prelude 95 srv...and i build it to the spec i wanted and beat the mustang feeling..I think i got it but you all know that , we always don t have enough hp, we always want more....thats why i want to sell my accord and build a rwd car...but it s look like i will keep my BB...or here are my idea for this club.it s been since i m here i want to see an accord club.
First for the meeting we can meet at the friday night at the same place are the other guys and put side by side all those nice accord.
Guys if you want to meet people thats the night because all the car are there that night. Don t try to get everybuddy opinion when will be the best time because it will always happen someone won t be able or have something else to do that night..and thats normal .we have diferant live style.
2e I know everybuddy is working on the logo...we need one.
3e I love working on my car and some other cars..i like mecanique and i m still learning.We need a place where we can go to do our mecanic , welding,sanding,paint ....and i don t know everybuddy here on the forum but for myself i m not a big talker...i like doing thing when i spend times with people..like mecanique and so on....
i m sure many of you will like to do them selfe your modification and i have the place where we can do that or i can ask to get the permission from the base..and we can do a meeting there during the week and working on cars...
4e We should make a flag for the club and a tent....
i have more idea but before to put them on the site i will wait to see how people will react at those point i bring to you guys...men i love cars and i can spend days on that without a probleme...ehh not true , my gilr friend will be mad but she knows i like that...
and SE-I i know you are the CREW LEADER and i hope you will like those idea...men it was time to someone jump and make a accord club...

| Awesome man, the club will be good. I just can't wait to meet everyone and talk about their cars and get some suggestions about what to do to mine. I've got some rough ideas for the logo/sticker, and I'd love to work on my car with other people. All this stuff will come when we have our first meet, I'm sure. As for the date and time, it doesn't matter to me, if one is set I'll be there. |

| Sorry I have not been around I have moved and do not have the internet for a few days. I just skimmed through the thread I dont have much time on the computer right now, Im at school so I will be on in acouple days. But everything sounds great so far. |

hi guys i have some news from the garage on the base and they won t let a club to go there because of one thing and it s because they are a car club.They said if we want to works on one car at the time it will be possible if i m member..and i will be soon..
but one thing is sure guys it s if some guys from the club wants to do some mecanique on the car it s possible if i m there and there is few place for civilian people..they have a number to respect every year.
it will cost 150 $ to be a CRA member + 25 $ fees for the year.
to work on the car in the bay with the lift it s 3 $/hours and W/O the lift 2 $
the paint boot it s 15 $/hours or 60 $ for a full day.there is 3 guys who are doing paint.i don tknow what the job looks like but i will go to see that one night.
then is open from monday to thursday : 18h30 to 22h00
Friday : closed
sat and sunday : 10h00 to 16h00
i know it s not the perfect word but i think this could be a great start..i don t know how big the club wil be but it will be nice if we can rent a place for the club to do our job on the car+meeting and so on...but thats is a dream and it will cost us to much...and i know there is some place where they have been closed for many years and they have the bay with the lift..it s something i will work on my side to see what we can do...who knows maybe we will be able to buy some cars and rebuild them then sell it to finance our club..i m full of idea but it will depend on the # of member and what they wants for club... |

to work in a bay without the lift is exactly like working at home all over again.
and the thing is, their closed on fridays, thats the day everybody wants to go to meets and everything, so instead of getting help your just talking about the help |

not realy newaccorddriver because i don t know if you have all the tools ( i think you have because of your background mecanic) but many of us don t have the money to buy all those nice tools...for myself when i want to work on my car i have to work outside because i don t have a garage..and i know friday it s closed but for the money it will cost you for one year it s realy cheap when you think it will cost around 300 / month on other place where they rent garage with all the tools..or i think s it s a good begening for someone who has no garage and ndoesn t have all the tools..
and i said they won t let us to meet there..they are a car club..and don t forget it s a military facilitie..or friday it the party day for us..and for the meeting it will be better to go to those friday and saturday they have already closed to withe ave because there is a lot of people meeting there on those days..and after that if the guys wants we can go ride and have a accord meeting somewere else...
buddy i try to find something to help couple guys and i will be a member soon ...there is everything a car guy will want there... |

you should know everybody that has a basic tool set has just about everything needed to repair a car, the main things that most people are usually missing(including me) are things like torque wrenches and the other odd tools you might need like a clutch alignment tool
forgot to add, i only spent maybe $200 on tools, not even, and those tools are pretty much the only things i will need for a very long time. the only expensive tools are really just the torque wrenches or pneumatic tools(if you really lazy) |

ok if you want but i work on alot of car and it alway fun to have the tools you need under hand..but it s true you don t need a large amount of tools but it s just a plus for those one who don t have tools to do basic job..
and it cost me more than 200 $ for all the tools i have men.. |

I would love to get a club shop for us. I dont know if we can find one for cheap enough as for tools I have 65gallon compressure almost brand new, welders ect... That I would put up for club use.
I have a garage at home but its not the same as haveing a shop. But in the mean time if anybody needs help with anything we can do it at my house we got tools and its free. |

jays just lost someone close to him, i dont think its time to bother him yet.
my cars going in for an insurance inspection this saturday and my muffler isnt installed yet, do you think we can do it sometime this week? i got the clamps and all i just need to install it. id to it myself but i cant get under my car cause i dont have jacks or stands or anything...:( i have the tools but my friend tried that on his old prelude and it never worked, he said he needed an impact |
