Well that was impressive.:p

I love to autocross but that display was nothing close to the true performance of an enthusiastic autoxer.

Nightstalker
Was that suppose to be a good run, because to me it just looked like a attempt at a FWD drift event.

jrsplace
what part of havin fun don't you understand??

Nightstalker
I understand all parts of having fun.. But I also see autocross as a chance to build your skills as a driver. There is a clock for a reason.

dc2696
oh man thats was halarious:lol: ....no offence but that was sum rookie shit hopefully that was ur first time cuz then its understandable....practice makes perfect.

Nightstalker
I guess it depends on the event to. If you attend the autocross events here at Namao you would be insane to just go out there and screw around considering that you get so few runs. Some of the Corvette club events aren't that bad. The last one I was at I could of had 15+ runs no problem if I wanted to. Then just going out there to screw around isn't really a waste.

louren22
Theres different types of events at Namao. You shouldnt go out to an ASA event to screw around, but if you go out to fun event, its fine to screw around.

Nightstalker
I am moving more and more towards lapping anyway.. Autocross is ok, but I really just enjoy going 190+ km/h :D

Thier were only 4 classes Frt Wheel drive stock Frt Wheel Drive Modified Re Wheel drive Stock & Re Wheel Drive Modified I had a old mini that had race tires on it & over 100 HP I was Fu#$%d so I had fun understand. thought it would make a good video, & were else can a cop watch you drive like that & you don't get a ticket because thier was one around the one run I went on it was GREAT.

PS was at Lacombe days last year Very small event

Nightstalker
I know all about the ASA grouping system man. In your defence the track does look a little tight.. But I bet you if were not so preoccupied with sliding the car around corners you would be a LOT faster. Your just scrubbing off to much speed, and along with that speed your tires. I am glad to hear you had so much fun. Autocross is one of those things that allows new comers to get in some seat time and learn the true limits of there car. You should look into the NASCC lapping event in August. Come out and see what you can really do, even though it looks like the course is going to be setup of the high HP guys.

Nightstalker
After watching this video again I have one thing to say.. You need new tires..

lovemytrx
That kind of behavior at an ASA would probably have got you a warning.

I went to the Camrose 100 footer/Autox just recently and there was a guy in a turbocharged cavalier who did the exact same thing you did. Needless to say his times werent very satisfactory. He tried it and found out it didnt work very well.

Nightstalker
If you come to a complete stop or a near complete stop like he does in almost every turn he uses the Ebrake on it tends to do bad things to your time.

lovemytrx
Smoothness is the key.

beatshack
lol!!

yeah. did you get a warning for that? even corvette club doesn't allow you to purposely go sideways hehehe

Nightstalker
Unless your driving a corvette of course, then you just can't help it and they all understand  :D
