Goin home from the girlfriends and just bout to hit the 2nd narrows bridge, when ( wont use race ) a older guy merges from the None movin merge lane , Merges 2 LANES NO SIGNAL LIGHT with no room mind u , it was either me to re-end him or a pickup truck, he was in the middle of both lanes and with no room to swurve i Popped his back bumper, smokin my Hood all the way back, crushin my front passenger light and poppin both signal lights out. My bumper is pushed in and has a massive crease and damage to it.
Im upset, because no signal and he took 2 lanes, and ALLL HE HAD TO DO WAS ACCELERATE i hit him doin under 80km/hr which is the speed limit . He blocked the lanes and wut im more upset about was he wouldn't drive over the bridge and pull over to the side of the road he had to do all the work on the bridge which then blocked traffic. He had poor english skills and was not helpful givin me any information i practical had to drive it out of him for his driver licence and VIN number and licence plate. Either way i know ICBC is goin to rape me for this cause i rear -ended him so its pretty much all my fault even tho he cut me off, best case its 75-25 for me or something but who knows, my civic is parked for a while tho so all those who liked the sleeper look ( may not come back fully , probably get a CF hood and a type R lip ) MAYBE on the lip but probably a CF hood anyways my rant is far from over but ima peace out and call ICBC

| he violated your right-of-way... should be automatically his fault- with no warning given to you, and no regard for his own safety or yours. you didn't rear-end him, he got in your way, emphasis on YOUR way. did he manage to utter some sort of excuse using his tenuous grasp of the English Language? |

| Go take pictures of ther area where it happened. Get some shots of the solid white line, and any other views of the road at different angles. It should help your case to ICBC. |

| it is to bad the guy in the pick up didn't stop and give you his name as a witness as to you not being at fault, but the scide marks and such should prove whos fault. call a police station tommorrow and ask them about it and what you can do. they most likely will side with you after looking at the scene, but who knows and it doesn't hurt. |

exactly ima make my calls tommorow and get some pictures, i tried to go back and snag some photos but it was rainin and its a dangerous area to snag pictures without add from traffic control . All i would need is 1 cop car and thats bout it.
So far the case is buildin in my favor but im not overly confident yet. Im still too shocked that he couldn't come up with a response why he cut me off and blocked the lanes. ALso for doin 40km/hr in a 100km/hr zone in the fast lane? If you are goin to cut someone off at least step on it. So yeah i dunno im so choked about it , that if icbc or the cops dont side with me ill probably give up on the civic build replace it with oem parts and sell it off and buy a junker. To have something i spent all this time money and effort on , to be wrecked by someone who doesn't even understand how to change lanes or use a signal light and talk at least SOME ENGLISH , hurts.
im not goin to get into the race deal cause its not the point , but its very hard to talk with someone who wont even speak the same language and will not give information, and keeps blamin me for an accident he caused. thx for support, ive gotten the same on the vancouver civic forum, many people are sad to see a clean civic gone, but at least we have the technology and we will rebuild |

| shes my baby and ima rebuild with oem parts and keep her a sleeper, Its either goin to go N/A power to mid 13's or ima turbo for high 12's yet to decide, but it iwll be longer wait for either of those :( May send the block out for sleevin and so forth while i get the cosmetics done |
