Where to buy Turbo replacement parts - Click HERE for Original Thread

GOT BOOST
Hi Everyone,

Just checking to see if anyone knows where to buy turbo replacement parts.

To be more precise, I am looking for turbo internals such as impellers, oil seals, bushings, etc. I have a few calls out there right now but I thought I would check and see if anyone knows any businesses or shops that would be able to supply these.

Thank you in advance,

Mike Nikolai

That kind of stuff they sell to the shops that specialize in turbo repair. \And normally those shops won't sell you the parts beacuse of the precision of the work requires, AKA no saturday mechanics. Better off just to go to the dealer or a wrecker to find a replacement and bit the bullet.

Hi Z32 nut.

Thanks for the info. I have heard there are a few shops around town that sell replacement parts.

As for the precision work, I had dissasembled my turbo and the set up is actually quite primative. Contrary as to what one may believe. Precision work to design them and to have them built I agree, but for replacing parts I am affraid not.

A long time friend of mine and a mechanic of 35+ years has rebuilt many turbos with ease in his shop. He does not have a turbo rebuilding shop, just an automotive and autobody shop. He looked at mine and told me what I need for replacement parts. He was going to source some parts for me but we have not been in contact. I have also placed a few calls to some contacts and they too are searching. However with the long weekend here I thought I would check to see if anyone in here knows of other places that we may have not considered for parts.

I have searched ebay and have found some rebuild kits. I would like to know who sells rebuild kits locally.
