Anyone have favorite sites they go to for Accord parts?
Specifically, I was looking at different lowering options for an 98 accord. |

well, i plan on doing a conversion with my accord and change it from a auto to a standard because my transmission is screweed up and soon to break apart. if you can help me find a good and cheap manual transmission and the other parts required forr the swap that would be nice. im only willing to put out a few hundred for parts on the accord cause anymore and i should be shopping for a new car instead |

I've got a 98 Accord to and I went to a place in town. I went to Garage Works. David, the owner, is a good friend of mine and he got me my parts quicker and cheaper then anyone in town.I got my springs in 5 days and my shocks in 3. I tried to go to Matrix but they took over 3 weeks just to order anything.
It's super easy to lower the 98's. I did mine in around 4-5 hours. all u need is a good socket set, allen keys, spring compressors and jack stands. If u want some help when u do them I'll be glad to.If u want to see some pics to just ask.
I've got H&R springs and Tokico Blues. Lowered 1.7 but sometimes wish I went lower. But once u go lower than 2 you should look into a camber kit, to save your tires. |
