Autowreckers who will buy - Click HERE for Original Thread

Do you know of any autowreckers that will buy your piece of junk for a small price like 100 bucks and will come and get it? Please and thanks!

Nope, either they pick it up and give you a taxable donation receipt, or they give you $80 if you bring it to them.

I think Kingsway towing will come tow it for free, but you get nothing out of it.

if you donate to the kidney foundation, i think they give you a taxable receipt of $2000 or something like that.

I don't think it's that large. We donated a POS and got a 100 tax deduction out of it (forget how much it actually was for).

If it was 2000, wow, there would be a ton of people donating every Feb/March :)

I think you initially get a small tax receipt, and if it reaches a certain value at auction (Probably anything more than scrap) they give you another tax receipt.

So I guess you could get a $2000 tax receipt - probably if they received that at an auction....

My truck we got a $100 tax recipt and my mom's car we got a $50.

If you hauled it to pick a part you might get something for it. Call around to wreckers.. if there's a demand for parts off it.. they pay for it. if not they won't.
