he's referring to counter strike: source, not the older CS, and CS:S has considerably higher hardware requirements.
actually the 9550 isn't that great of a card, you can get the radeon 9600pro for $100 from memory express (best computer parts store in edmonton IMO) and the 9600 pro is a far better card for the money, it gets better framerates in HL2 than a geforce FX 5700
