Well, I made it at least! Ran a 15.86 with no intercooler AND my mysterious misfire, I think low 15s or, (fingers crossed) even high 14s are possible. Also got to try the drift track, pretty cool, but not really my thing.
Today I think I solved the misfire. While trying to eliminate possibilities I removed the intercooler pipes only to find them drenched with oil. A little research pointed to crankcase pressure, and the only possible source was the PCV. I removed the hose, capped the manifold fitting, and presto, no miss! I think the PCV valve was bouncing off it's seat under boost, causing boost loss and crankcase pressure, and blowing oil past the turbo seal into my intake.
I'll give it a few days before i declare it fixed as it has burned me before, but i feel pretty confident. If the intake stays clean and the engine runs smoothly, i'll reinstall a new PCV valve along with a check valve to ensure that NO pressure is introduced to the crankcase.
I'd like to try Bud Park again before the season ends, with the car running right. If anyone is serious about going, let's try to make it a club outing again.

sorry i didn't make it out bob, i was planning on it but last minute i decided not to and don't have your number so i couldn't let you know.
i would try venting the crankcase myself to eliminate an oil ingestion from happening again. i don't like the thought of oil getting sucked in through it. Or use a catchcan to try and reduce it.
15.8 with no intercooler, i'd say thats pretty darn good myself. and with misfiring fixed and intercool it again and i would wager that mid-low 14's are well within reach, possibly more.

Well done BOB...I ended up spending 20 hr's at work Friday or I would have made it out late.
I have to run mine this year with the mods done...and i need yo dyno again with boost this time. We will set up a date for this soon.
