Good luck getting that when he didn't even pay that much for it.

boarderfatty
he has been dropping alot of money into it fixing repairing and modifying shotty work that was done to the car by the previous owner

Keith303
still a decent price, I hate the muffler though

mike3
Why is he selling it already? Parents making him?

boarderfatty
his parents are threatenin to kick him out, plus he lost his job so he cant afford gas and insurance, lol
I guess thats what you get for impulse buyin and gettin stuck with alot of work

boarderfatty
might be willing to trade for stock 90-94 talon tsi +$, or some other decent 2 door import

DSM
What was wrong with the car when he got it? Sam kept the car is good running condition, I think the problem might be he has no clue what half the parts on the car are. Is he willing to part anything out. I will take the COP set up off of him and replace it with a stock one plus $$.

Yet another example of some kid who wants a fast car, yet knows nothing about it.

Im suprised it has the coil on plug set-up

Sam (the previous owner) put every mod on that car.

boarderfatty
he put in a deck and relocated it from under the back seat cushion to in the dash, he to out a shitty panel made from what looked like to be hot glue holding guages where the air vent were, and replaced it with the stock venting, the old redtop was not holding a charge so he replaced that, the rotor wear seemed a little uneven so he relpaced the rotors and put in new ceramic pads as well. A steering alignment was also needed and done, and he has also done a lot of rewiring, removing or replaceing unneeded wires and others that just werent done right.

He has a list of all the stuff that he has done to the car coming to me sometime this weekend.

boarderfatty
He isnt willin to trade his COP for stock + $$, hes in need of cash desperatly so i have been tryin to convince him to give it to me but he doesnt seem to want to trade anything away

dmak_el
I think he also got a pocket logger for 2g?
if he has it, can u ask how much he wants for it?

boarderfatty
He does have the pocket logger but hasnt learnt how to use it yet, so i dont know if all the programs are there. I will ask him if he is willing to give it up, but like i said before i dont think he is willin to part this car out. I have been tryin to get anything from him that i can from him for the month that hes had it, but he refuses

i understand, but a logger isn't really part of the car...haha, it's just for tuning. so if he is not going to tune the car. it's useless for him anyway.

but thx anyway.

hockeyboy77
Purple, uhh, might be a tough sell. :dunno:

Nice car though, $13,000 is a pretty good price I must say.

sure shows it... he drives by my work daily about 30 times... no joke. doesnt seem like he's low on funds to drive around all day.

boarderfatty
thats why hes low on funds, loves drivin his car, but now job to keep some of his time occupied and buy gas

DSM
Still there is no way that he is going to get more than he payed for it, and he is asking like $3000 more. I know the previous owner and I have seen the car many times, there wasn't shotty work done to it. And if you are talking about the stuff you post a few back, then he deffinitely didn't put to much time or money to fix those problems.

baker_jeff
It's all about finding the right buyer. I bought my 240SX for $1150, put about $800 into it to fix it up, and sold it for $2950.

So HA! It was rusty as shit too :P.

Jeff

boarderfatty
this is trhe second owner after Sam, so there was stuff done inbetween the owners, and the price is obo
