hey, check PM.
I'd recommand Crystal chip if you have slim ps2.
and thick ps2...it doesn't matter.
I am doing a group mod, save us a few bucks.
it is expensive then Lucky 97, but hey, I rather spend a bit more then finding out my laser is burnt due to a bad modchip and bad modding.
the store is www.modobots.com, and no, I did not work for them.
www.modguy.com is another small individual modder. he use Duo, which IMO was good, until the Crystal come.
DSM4 was good too, but since they never update their chip. it was bad. and get this, DSM3, was a really good modder, but all the team had gone. so DSM4 is not as good.
and to answer where to buy an mod-chip, there are plenty online sales.
or you like Edmonton sales? be aware that the sales in edmonton is about 10% more.
