I heard that there was this Win a Trip Contest that attended some of the recent Car shows. I was wondering if anybody won, because my friend apparently won the contest. I remember hearing somewhere, that everyone gets a phone call and it ended up being a scam...I think the contest was a Ramada Getaway package...
Did anyone look into the exacts of this Contest Scam???:dunno:
if so, do you have any details or particulars on the contest??? It just sounds fishy that he won a trip for 4, to Ft. Lauderdale, and a couple other trips to Vegas, Cancun, etc... but they asked for his Credit Card upfront...:dunno: :eek: :blink: |

| My girlfriend 2 of my friends and i all recieved a phone call, it is a total scam which is unfortunate because i could use a free holiday. |

I've had them call also. You won a trip, you just have to pay the Taxes due to some legal reasons(bullshit) and transportation to said place.
It's also like when I won an alarm. I just had to pay the install which was over $200. My alarm in my F-150 cost just over $200 with install and it had 4 times the range than that cheap peice of shit.(along with extra sensors in my canopy)
I hate these scams!:mad: |

| Yah I guy a friend knows entered a draw at kdays and he got a call... and apparently is a bit naive and he gave his card... and pretty quick they put 900 bucks on it. |
