Yeah heard L'Oreal has something similar....now every self-conscious person is going to stock up on this "firming lotion" thinking it'll make them fit
 |

hmmm, to boost sales to insecure chubbies I wonder if they'll move all the lotions and shit over by the bakery and ice cream now..... |

:dunno: Most of those women are chubby and I would bet that if we actually saw the picture before it was airbrushed we'd be looking at a whole lot of cottage cheese.
mmmmmm.... cottage cheese. :p |

What flavours do they come in?
...and if you think those girls are chubby you must have been a lonely guy at closing time back in your single days... |

You obviously don't man cuz if Dove did NOT intend to market this product to weight-conscious women, they would've included more "petite" ladies in the ad.
I only see 1 amongst the 5 others.
And Dove will certainly not be so blatant as to put an obese woman on the ad, that'd draw a lot of negative attention from over sensitive people.
I just don't get some people, health & fitness doesn't come in a bottle, it's called leading a more active lifestyle all around. Even eating better.
Walk instead of drive to lunch, take the stairs, flip off the boob tube and take a stroll. Fresh air is good for you.
Snack on veggies instead of chips, juice instead of pop, granola bars instead of chocolate bars.
The results may not come as quickly as this "blubber tube" but you sure as heck will feel much better overall. The results will last longer too. |

I keep setting you up, don't I. You ought to be paying me.
I don't like the rolls, but big girls need love too. More cushin' for the pushin' - and you know an anorexic girl don't like to swallow nuthin'.
There is a fat switch you know, but it's more like a dimmer switch that you slowly turn down until you get just the right level of standards. It's called beer. |

| I don't think they are fat either. I think people are way to concerned about having the perfect body and little imperfections. Everybody has a different body, it is the way we are made. You have to just love yourself for who you are, not always worry about what other people think. |

And one for the girls too.

Whats wrong with being attractive to slimmer girls? I'm not saying anorexic, but I mean, I'm not gonna hook up with a chubby just cause they "need lovin" too. It's a preference, just like some guys dont find certain races attractive. It's whats in your mind that tells you, "hey she's beautiful" And if that happens to be a fat girl well then go hard.
And closing time is never lonely if you, yourself, work on your own body.
But I think the ad is a good business strategy, I'm sure the ceo and board members couldn't give two shits about women who are worried about their weight, cause if they thought a small skinny girl on the ad would selll them more, they'd have a small skinny girl on the ad. |

| Just for the record, I would nail all of those chicks. They're just the right size to me. |

Those chicks all look very nice. There's nothing wrong with those ladie's bodies. Except for the one 3rd from the left, too stocky for me. Personally, I'm a fan of the hourglass and it's fine to have a little extra poundage, it's rolls that I take an issue with. But frankly I don't think that ad is very realistic anyway. In my experience there aren't many women who are in between skinny and fat. They're either too skinny, or carry a spare tire. Although I've never met an anorexic girl.
