www.tiretrends.com

Best prices around. They are in lower mainland BC (Burnaby or something) and have great service. Plus their website is in Canadian $$$.

When I bought my FM901's I called around to most places in town and was quoted $50-60 more per tire! A couple of them even told me to just buy them from tiretrends when I asked if they'd price match.

AND, because they are out of province...no tire tax, so you save like $20 there alone.

Consider mounting and balancing costs before purchasing from tiretrends.com. I was interested in some 225/45/R18's and it was a couple of bucks cheaper to get the tires locally rather than from online.

That is very true.

I've heard some good feedback around here about Fastech Tires on the South Side.

btw, Azenis RT-615 can't really be compared to the Yoko ES100.
If you're talking about the Azenis ST-115, then they can be compared.

The old Azenis RT-215

The new Azenis RT-615 (replaced the 215)

The High Performance All Season Azenis (ST-115)

Basically, the first two Azenis (215 & 615) are streetable R-compound tires (track only).

The grip does not compare at all.

The guys at Fastech have always been really good. Fast service and better prices than everywhere else that I got quotes.

1010tires and tiretrends and such still charge you tire disposal tax's, just like buying locally. $4 per tire.
after ordering from them you need to get them mounted and balanced. $20-$30 per tire.
And don't forget about shipping. $10-$12 per tire.

They can still be cheaper if you can get a deal or free mounting and balancing. I bought through 1010tires when I worked at a tire shop because I could mount and balance them myself. But in the end I onle saved like $30 total.

for real guy dont do that stop by fulblown motorsports josh deals directly with the distributer that sells rubber to fast tech and tire ware house and all those places. its located at 12017-160th street
:D

Costco has a limited selection, but if they have the brand you want, their prices are really good. Very close to tiretrends and 1010tires but you don't have to worry about shipping and you get lifetime tire rotations and they will fix flats for free at any Costco in NA.

I have been waiting for over a month for my Yoko ES 100s as well! Don't even bother with Fastec! I waited for a month with them before they finally told me they couldn't get it in. Now I am going with Garage Works. Hopefully they can pull through.

I've had quotes from Transform Spoilers on a set of tires that was well below what Tiretrends sells them for.

Give them a call!

Hey guys,

No disrespect by being a thread hijacker, however I have been following this thread closely. I too will be in need of some tires soon. Thanks for all the info. I will do some checking at the shops which were reccomended.

I just picked up some new tires as well. I was also looking at the ES100s but ended up going with the new Kumho SPT instead. I've read some reviews and they perform just as well as the ES100 in the dry and much much better in the wet, plus they are cheaper too. I ended up ordering from www.tirerack.com as even after duty, shipped exchange and brokerage, it was still almost $100 cheaper than what tiretrends or 1010tires could do.

Here is where the thread went. I knew it was here somewhere. I am searching for aftermarket rims for a 2006 Toyota Camry (not my car). :D
