Feedback on Nokina WR? - Click HERE for Original Thread

Slacker Jack
Two sets of tires balding (on different cars), winter ahead, and i'm too cheap to get 2 new sets of winter tires and 2 new sets of summer tire. Wondering if Nokian WR "All Weather Plus" will do the trick, otherwise it will be some other all-season tire. Anybody tried them? I've read that they have a tread life of 100,000 km and still has the Severe Service Emblem. I hear they are decent in winter but what about the summer? Any comments?

REFLUX
Tires are probably a lot cheaper than body repairs.

besides, if you have 2 sets of tires, they'll last you twice as long and you'll get awesome traction in their respective weather conditions.

Think of it this way, tires are the ONLY part of your car that touches the ground, why would you cheap out on them?
They are the only part that actually helps your brake, accelerate and turn.

But if you're going to buy the tires anyways, get ones that'll do better in winter than summer.
That's when it will really count.
