Budweiser park racing rules? - Click HERE for Original Thread

Im thinking of taking my truck out for the street legals on August 12 and I heard a rumour that you need to have a oil catch can and you cant just put a breather filter on your valve cover, is this true? If anybody has any input Id like to hear it as I only have a filter on right now. thanks, shayne

A VC breather is no problem. It's your radiator overflow they're concerned over, as it's much easier for that to spill a significant amount of fluid on the track than your crankcase evac.

I don't run a catchcan, and have a breather off of my VC. I run in the street legals most fridays they have them, and they have never said anything.

I'd have passed you if I saw that.

Most of the time techs will just look for anything that sounds an alarm in their head.

There was one guy <unamed> at an event last year where I turned him around because his front spoier was hanging on by 2 bungee cords.

I've heard shaved door handles are a no no at Bud park but yet I've seen a couple of guys get away with it? :dunno:

BlueTurboEGG
That's because if you're in the car if you crash, the emergency crew can't get to you if the roof is crushed.

Little details like that will most likely ignored.

Again, unless it's a major fault, it should be fine.

I totally agree, just saw that a couple of ppl slipped.
