Naw they aint shady..id recommend them...bought phones from them b4, and will probably continue to do so. Id say they one of the better places in Edmonton for buying cells.

Great place, great phones, great service, prices are a bit high compared to internet stuff but they always have cutting edge phones and they command a high price when brand new.
I've purchased from them before and am very pleased with it overall.
If you do a search for Omegacell on this forum, there are a couple threads with some feedback on them. |

I didnt like it at all.
My sisters bf was friends with the owner, I bought a phone from them for 300 cash.
Turns out, copuldnt access the internet at all with all possible ways, the battery seemed like an old one since it wouldnt only last a couple hours fully charged, and a buncha flaws were found.
I'll never go there for another phone. |

| The problem that you have where you can't access the internet is to do with your provider, not the phone. |

Provider gave me a dozen need ips and such for the net.
It was the phone, since it didnt only happen to me.
but overall, didnt like that place. |

Just because you bought a lemon & never went back to have it looked at?
Sounds like you should be unhappy with the phone, not the seller. |
