I was just being a smartass with my initial post.
But it seems whenever I poke any fun at drifting, the immediate reaction is someone always takes a jab at my car (whether here or on NECC forums).
If I'm out at bud park tonight, I would be interested in checking it out though. |

So its like "Yo, you dissin' my sport? Well, then I'm going to dis yur ride, yo!" That's mature.
What does MY car have to do with a sport that I neither participate in nor have any interest in anyway? :dunno: You might as well have just made fun of my mountain bike or my roller blades, it would have been almost as relevant. :p
Besides whether we're in the same sport or not, a Nissan enthusiast shouldn't be dissin' another's Nissan. I never insinuated that S13's suck. |

Sorry my posts are taking too long to read through. I was just generalizing. Your post was fairly mild actually... I've been bashed far worse on NECC's own forums in a similar scenario. And besides I'm not being as serious about this as you might think I am. :p |

haha no worries man, i go on quite a few local internet boards, people are way too jumpy and serious, some ppl takes it way too serious, i just dish out few cuts here and there to get some laughs too...
ps I probably said something mean to z32's on NECC too haha |

I might be out tonight to practice burnouts in the water box and launching (low boost), before I swap my tranny out. If I have time I will definately walk over to watch some of the drifting action.
Hopefully the participant numbers for drag racing aren't too large tonight. I don't want to have to wait 1-1.5 hours between each practice run. D'oh. |

Yea, drag lines up are huge. I really want to test my car out for time. All tho, i am having some fuel problems (running a little lean during 0.1 0.2 boost than it clears up) but engine should be able to handle it but never get to chance #1 i dono how to launch #2 huge drag line up
I usually go out to watch the drifting event and support buddies. TD07 is way too laggy to drift with haha |

*Raises hand* Yup.
If I go tonight its with only two goals in mind:
1) No wheelhop!! - I've hopefully solved all the mechanical (ie. suspension related) factors, now I just have to work on the dumb-dumb behind the wheel.
2) Minimize those 60ft times! (Trying to do better than 1.9xx s.)
I won't be achieving any personal ET or trap records tonight. |
