| as most of you know it has a very bad automatic transmission so i uninsured it as i didnt know when i was getting the swap done. a week or so has gone by and as it stands its not getting done too soon. i went to pick n pull yesterday to remove a transmission only to have my most valuable tool break down on my. the 14mm sockets which i needed to remove the bellhousing bolts had bolt heads snap in them, to make it worse, it claimed 2 of them, my 1/2 and 3/8 drive sockets. luckily for me that they werent from the bellhousing and were from the exhaust pipe i was removing. either way the bolt heads snapped in the socket just when i ran out of time and was about to leave, so im not sure when i can go back for the stuff, but probably soon cause its just a few bolts and its out(i saw the haynes manual i downloaded), mostly on the mounts and the started |
