I finally was able to set up a user account, logged on and posted my first topic (pertaining to the Edmonton Prelude Club).
To my surprise, the setup is completly different than any other website I've been on and you can't even go back to edit a previous post. Weird!
Anyways, the first reply to my post is some arsehole that tells me "Not to advertise". I'm like WTF? People are posting specials at big named businesses, selling parts, etc..... I don't see how my post is any different.
The real kicker, is the amount of profanity used on that site and no regards for other people. I think it's used mostly by kids who really don't care.
I don't think I'll be visiting that site "EVER" again.
Sorry, I just had to vent. |

Yeah that place is not much of a car forum.
There are a few guys on there that know some stuff.
Other then that,... nothing all that good there. Unless a laugh is what your after. :wacko: You've probably noticed the many this type of car versus that type of car.
That place does get a lot of traffic though it seems. |

| Hey Darcy, I replied to your post on EO and it's rare to see a normal thread going there. I doubt there's any car enthusists there that aren't already on these forums, just a bunch of kids on that forum, but a good laugh once in awhile :D |

But yeah, you're gonna have to expect people with:
-Lack of respect
-Comments about body parts
-More "Yo Mama" jokes than you can flip a coin to
-And less average intelligence than an Earthworm... |
