RX-7 Infini III - Click HERE for Original Thread

ZER0
I really want to import an FC3S and would be happy to get a GTX but would much prefer an Infini III. I know this was a limited production car. Do they often come up for auction and how much do they go for? Also is there any hope of importing a turbo rotary FC in good shape ie: doesn't require significant repair or is that just a pipe dream?

if you have the money anything is pissible

RX-7's in good shape, especially Infini's are not as cheap as similar cars. I think you could expect to pay between $7000-9000 for a good Infini ver.III.

I know they are notorious for needing engine rebuilds, but of the one's we've imported, no one has ever come back saying that the engine was tired (one customer ruined his rotary by spiking the boost).

probebly not enough fuel, rotorys love to drink lots of gas

ZER0
Thanks that is about how much I thought it would be. Are they very common at auction though? Could one even be found?

mx73someday
They aren't too common, but they're not impossible to find. It might take a few weeks (or months) to find and win a suitable example.

Thanks for your help

When you say $7000-$9000 is that just for the car or the car including fees (broker fees/importer fees/GST)?

mx73someday
Everything to Vancouver.

And what is the difference between the Infini III and the GTX and how is it different from the Infini IV (besides build year)?
