any of you guys drive the mr2 in the winter? i know everyone says its too good of a car to drive in the winter and its real wheel blah blah blah, but i dunno if i can hold it in and not drive it, so i might consider driving it occasionally on calm winter days.. I probably will store it for winter but just wanted to see opinions.

I was caught by surprise by early freak snow last winter. couldnt do it. Had all-seasons for shoes.

its not worth it to me to drive in snow. besides me being reckless, there other yahoos who think they're wrc finland champs. i left her outside under a car cover.

but thats me, its just a car right? ;)

I would buy a beater  while she sleeps during winter time

Nah, too much love for the 2. I'd rather bus it that expose her to Winter's elements.

......end of September and she's down till Spring '06. :tear:

Winter beater is the way to go. I`m gonne drve it till the very last possible day. Till there is snow on the ground!! Anyone know where to get a good car cover for teh winter? I have a cloth one, but I wouldn`t mind one that blocks out snow. If not, then i`ll just buy a big azzz tarp for it.

Last winter, I didnt have money to buy a beater, and would rather spend insurance money on mods, so I bussed it all damn winter. Borrowed the parents car once in a while.

This year I bought a beater, and it will be parked I believe at the end of august, will make a appearance at SCC Edmonton, then back to sleep.

No car cover, but its parked in my garage, the only thing that happens is alot of dust.
