| Well its time the edmonton mr2 club gots its own logo. so lets start a design contest. Its open to anyone and everyone and the best design will win (online poll). and to the winner, the incerdible prize will be.... acknowledgement of your design ablilities. seriously the club doesnt have anything for prizes, but we do have the coolest cars in edmonton so that makes up for it:D . I suck at visual design, but i'm going to give it a try, and so should you... |

I might even have a sponsor who might cover the costs og getting the shirts made up as long as thier complany name is on the back.....don't get too excited, but stay tuned........ |

| Well it turns out i used to work with the guy who makes the shirts. the info i gave him was a one color print roughly 10x10 cm either on the left brest or center. standard fruit of the loom t-shirt. for this he said were looking at rouhgly $10 bucks a shirt. if we want a 2 color print or a bigger print, or golf shirts or something different obviously it would be a bit more. now the bad news, he is going back to work near sometime in the first week of september, so i would need to get him a copy of the design a couple days before that. He's coming to edmonton late this week so i can meet him then if we want. we deifinately don't have to go with this guy, thats just an option. let me know what you think...... |

How does a free t-shirt sound?
Acajulta Restaurant (best authentic spanish food in the city) is financing the costs of the shirts!!:thumbup:
So, our logo on the front, thiers on the back.
We'll have to put some business cards on our cars at shows / meets, etc. Not a big deal.
I say we all get together there after SCC for supper also...to show support.
Jeff: can you update us on the design and costs involved?
Also, we need to know who all wants a t-shirt so we can get some final costs nailed down. |

after last night, it sounds like everyone may be more interested in polo/golf shirts rather than t-shirts. this means having them embroidered, and having the logo scanned. so i will call around tomorrow (monday) and find out our costs. if people would like a t-shirt as well they will still be in the 10-15 dollar range. |
