Is there an independent company that gives this training? Would be nice to have on the resume but don't want current company to know about it.

Defintly well worth it. The company I work for paid for it, I think it was $250, not sure though.

THE DEVIL
I had to get mine to work for Nabors Drilling.

I took it at Leduc Saftey right on the main road on nisku across the tracks to the east of McDonalds.

Total cost for mine was $133.75 and was a day course. Very easy to do.

haha, well actually my brother worked for lakota and is goin out for pd tommorrow morning, he's a derrickhand, i roughed on rig2 for nabors this last winter and will prolly b goin back sometime next month:thumbup: yihah!:beer:
