V8less Sport Compact Challenge
EDMONTON EDITION - SEPTEMBER 17 BUDWEISER MOTORSPORTS PARK ( WWW.BUDPARK.COM)
Hundreds sport compact and custom cars will gather at Budpark on September 17th during V8less Sport Compact Challenge (SCC) Presented by The Tire Warehouse.
During The Tire Warehouse SCC at Budpark, expect to see the hottest tuner vehicles race across the quarter-mile drag strip. At the same time, spectacular vehicles competing in the show competitions combine with a drift showoff team to drive the capacity crowd into a frenzy only seen at SCC!
No Pre-registration is required (except for Drift) however, all clubs and crews are encouraged to register a number of vehicles show to reserve space in the show area.

Who's interested in participating in the last official sport compact event of the year? The V8less SCC in September is always a good venue and a great turnout.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to this one so Mike (mike3) will be heading it up. He will be in charge in organizing our team for those that want to drag race, show-off or just spectate... |

Neither Mike nor myself will be able to attend to organize things so you're on your own for this one... |

Wow this is a bitchfest.
5th gens at sea level run 15.4's all day. 4th gens will run 15.3's.
Calgary's track was the worst I've ever raced on. Expect all your times to be 5tenth's faster than the calgary scc times.\
And I'll be there to spank all the old honda boys! :lol:
On a side note, my dad may auto-x the prelude......

good event, was nice out, track was good.

My car wasn't there, because i came down with my friend Ron in his truck. He had alot of running around to do on friday.

hey i was there reppin jdmauto... ran a 15.2 @ 92 mph with a reacton time of .095. john ran awesome and took home his class in the drag... although the honda was a little quicker!! :lol: :eek: :thumbup:
