FS: Stainless Steel Magnaflow Muffler w/ MOMO Tips - Click HERE for Original Thread

Deep_Blue
Hey Everybody!

After much debate I have decided to sell my Stainless Steel Magnaflow muffler with attached chrome 80mm MOMO tips. The muffler is 3" in and 3" out, with dual tips. It's pretty much the only 3 in 3 out muffler Magnaflow makes. I was originally going to have a custom exhaust done up with this muffler, but I decided to get a Tanabe cat-back instead, so now this is for sale. It has never been used, and it is in beautiful shape. As for price, well, the muffler cost me $246.10 after tax, and the tips cost me $169.06. I realize the tips are outrageously expensive. I have receipts for both. Including labour (welding), I'd guess I spent about $435.16 (I applied $20 for labour, but I don't have the receipt).

So, that said, I will let go of the whole package for $300. The welds were done by one of the best welders in Edmonton (Clayton at ABC Muffler), and the whole thing looks really slick. Some pics are available at My Somewhat Defunct Car Blog (the only pics on the site).

This muffler is perfect for any turbocharged application and would be particularly ideal for a WRX or 240SX which already use very similar mufflers.

If you are interested or would like more pics (though they're pretty much the same) please e-mail me at actsail@hotmail.com or pm me (e-mail preferred).

Let's find this piece of art a good home guys!

The picture in your link shows a magnaflow muffler with the stock magnaflow tips. The way it comes out of the box brand new.

What gives? I don't get it, where are these nice MOMO tips and weld job you are raving about??!!

To reply to your question/comments:

When I bought the muffler there were no tips attached, the ones that are attached in those pictures are not Magnaflow, they are MOMO, which you can barely see in the picture of the muffler next to the car.

if only it was a 2.5 inlet

Hey 2ndgenlude!

You can always use pipe that steps up from 2.5" to 3". Just a thought, if you like it that much.

Tim

Edit: It would look totally sweet on a 'lude by the way!

Dude, the best welders in Edmonton don't work in muffler shops. LOL!

Bump for a muffler.

You're right!

Despite the name ABC Muffler sells hitches!

The fact stands that it's a nice piece, and I'd go back to Clayton to have anything welded.

Let's get this thing sold guys!

Cheers,

Tim
