| I went to Economy Muffler to get my exhaust made and boy are they good. They had my car done in 1 1/2 hrs. The quality is good and their customer service is great, the mechanics know what there doing and will do anything to help you. Great place. I would go back in a heartbeat. |

| tack this one on to a huge list of compliments from this site so far...they are a great shop for exhausts.. they repaired a bracket and 3 holes for 30 bucks in less then an hour.. when midas quote me almost 900 for the same job |

| Agreed! Never trust the Midas touch. They always quote the jobs based on their inflated schedule, no matter what the actual effort is to complete the work. |

| I went to Midas once (it was close by) cause i had a blown cat and couldnt go very far. And they charged my $94 for a damn test pipe. Midas = NO! |

They did my exhaust on my old Honda a few years ago and I was quite happy with the work, only two concerns -
1) Busy place, sometimes hard to get in, phone ahead
2) Shitty area, don't leave your car overnight |

| i agree.. fricken awesome shop.. got my magnaflow welded on there.. took less than an hour and the price was outstanding.. i was so very impressed.. incredibly.. and if i ever do more exhaust.. i will go there.. no doubt about it |

yes dont...my girlfriends dad owns the shop across the street and all the windows are broken in the cars in his lot almost weekly.. and cars are stolen by cracky bums..so dont leave ur cars there |

I have a freind that worked at midas for a few months. His storys really scared me away from there under any circumstance!
The mechanics are payed a percentage of the total bill, not just labour. So lets say you go in there for brake pads, they decide you need rotors, lines, calipers, etc...... all of a sudden they just doubled there daily income!! Be especially careful around christmas! They recieve a bonus check completely dependant on the parts they installed that month!
Why re-surface a rotor when you can replace it!
I hate shops that take advatage of people like that! |
