The Nissan NX2000 came with the SR20(DE) engine, the NX was a sporty coupe based on the B13 chassis. Here in Canada we didn't get the original SE-R like the states. sr20forum is the place to go for good info on these cars.

Nobody has installed a motor(?)on this car since I bought it, it is pretty much the stock SR20DE that it came with, but it still has a lot of get up and go. It is still black and I will be trying for some pictures tonight.

Photo's above now for those interested. BTW this car is more suited to be a fun & cheap daily driver/winter car than as a project car(see above rust comments).

Bad Egg

If you want a winter/daily driver that can still be fun to drive this is it.

Bad Egg
No longer pending - close but no cigar.

Price dropped to $1500obo to move.

Needs to go to a good home or I may have to take up rally driving this winter.

is the rust thru the body

See first post - both questions addressed - if it was rust free you wouldn't be getting it for twice this price anywhere.

red88.n/a.rx
has there been a recent inspection done?

mister_two
got any pics of the rust, interior, and engine bay?

Bad Egg
In the spring of 2003 I got an inspection done for insurance when I switched companies - no problems then.

Bump for all of those who have been asking me about the car - I had to fix the heater switch before selling and now it is done. Heat is now good and she is ready to go. Somebody better buy it before I change my mind about selling it...it gets better gas mileage than my other car and I am considering keeping it for a winter car myself.

I will drive it to work downtown this week for those who have asked to see it.

Mark
Can I come see it some time this week? I could probably make it out to Spruce Grove on monday or tuesday night.

Bad Egg
Yes, just give me a call at one of the numbers in the first post and we can work out a time.

Sorry, I don't have all the phone numbers to call all the rest of you I talked to back so feel free to call me again if you are still interested.

Does anyone want a practical winter/daily driver with winter tires and good heat that is still fun to drive?

Well, it is a FWD SR20DE stock. If you mean could you put in a FWD SR20DET, yes, it has become a relatively common swap. It has become overshadowed by the RWD 240 SR20DET swap but if you check out SR20forum.com you will see lots of the FWD type.

The popularity of the FWD version of the SR20DET swap on that site is mostly beause of the old school SE-R cult down in the states - they had a lot more SR20s in their cars(Sentra SE-Rs) so they got into the swaps a lot more. Here in Canada the SR20 only came in the NX2000 and G20 in the early 90's.
