Where in Edmonton sells the really really plush, high quality microfiber towels, wash mitts, applicator pads, etc.?
Canadian tire has some microfiber towels, but they're the cheap kind -laser cut edges, tagged, etc.
any help would be greatly appreciated. |

You have a PM. ;)
You can try Carlson Bodyshop Supply. They're at 5308-97st. They have Meguiar's, 3M, Norton etc. MF products, but most are not on display on the shelves, you may have to ask for them.
*edit*:
Sorry, I almost missed part of your post. I only addressed the part about MF towels.
For applicators, Carlson sells the Meguiar's hand applicators in packs of 4. They are reasonably priced and very high quality. I much prefer them over the generic ones for sale at places like Canadian Tire. Most other Meguiar's distributors probably can get them as well (NAPA, Acklands, etc.).
As for wash mitts, suprisingly... try Wal-Mart. They sell genuine sheepskin washmitts for about $7 and they are very decent, even considering the price. Just pick from the bin the one(s) that feels best (plushest?) to you. Canadian Tire sells them too, under the Simoniz name, but they're more pricey (like ~$12). Also, Costco sells some washmitt combo packs, and they're ok, although I find their skeepskin mitts tend to shed a lot.
Otherwise you're looking at online detailing vendors (mostly in the US, but there are a couple in Canada too).

werd. thanks, Jason.
I've been buying all my stuff off of eshine.ca, but I wanted to apply the 2nd, 3rd and 4th coat of the klasse sealant glaze over the weekend, but alas, I dried my microfiber towels with a bounce sheet (i.e. fabric softener) and am kind of anxious to get the extra layers on and don't want to wait (or pay) for the shipping.
but thanks dude. I will most definately be visiting that place during my lunch hour today

Uh oh. Hopefully you won't do that again. d'oh
I dry my MF's on a light "fluff" cycle only (low heat) in the dryer, and then air dry them the rest of the way. And they come out perfect every time.
BTW, good luck with the Klasse SG. I have their All-In-One which is a great base that works with many waxes and sealants. But I haven't tried their Sealant Glaze yet. (and I may not even get to it, I have way too many detailing products on my shelf, it might take me 20 years to use up what I have). |
