| I heard if you are "stunting" doing donuts drifts etc.. on your own private property you can still be issued a ticket. I'm curious as to why??? As long as your not disturbing someone else I see no problem with it. It's actually beneficial to practice drifts and recovering as those techniques could be used if you ever hit some ice in the winter. |

with my shitty tires, unless im going 2kmh, i am sorta forced to go sideways thru my corners...if i dont induce oversteer, the car will just plow right into the curb. oversteer is the only way i can stay on the road.
so for me, its not stunting, its just staying on the road...
haha this post is so offtopic |

| It's cause you can't drive.. that's why they always give you tickets dawg :P haha stunting is the act of disturbing other potential motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians or putting em in danger... if you're on private property and you own it you can do w/e the hell you want.. pour some concrete and make a drag strip, as long as you have the potential to disturb or harm anyone else it's stunting.. loud music, honking your horn for the hell of it, burnouts.. all distractions on the road.. hope that helped  |

SlowAzzPorsche911T is exactly right. On your own property you are able to do whatever you wish provincially; however, Criminal Code driving offences still apply. This includes "Impaired Driving" & "Over .08" because there is no stipulation that the offence occurred on a "Highway". The layman's definition of a "Highway" provincially is - any place the public would normally have access to. This can include a ditch, parking lot, campground roads etc. The definition is there so that if the public is around we all behave ourselves. So even if the Walmart parking lot is owned by Walmart (or the developer or the parent company etc) it is still considered a "Highway".

| ha and might I add.............ha. Were you there to see my snow mountain climb???? Visibility was poor and I blame it on the sheet of snow and ice that covered my windshield from the drifts out on the lake. Anyway I was only the third worst accident that day behind schlong8's broken bumper and schlong69's ditch drive hehe. |
