Yep.

and they do rather good inspections, seems like the guys working there are mainly kids/apprentice's so they rather be on the side of caution, as well as they dont have to make there own work (paid by hour)

theres a few mechanics that come to your place and inspect your car on the spot.. my friend got one done for $60.

yeah i dont know about canadian tire, they seem good, but when i took my eclipse there, to do a clutch, they said they couldnt find a clutch in canada, but if it was turbo, they could... i was like... wtf are you guys talking about... it is turbo, what do you think the boost gauge is for. they were like.... ooohh, rigght. so my car is still there as we speak. And as far as zippys go, i phoned those bastards twice to do the clutch for me and check the car over, And i got the voice mail both times, and left messages and never got a call back. and if they dont want my 2 grand. i say fuck em.

At CT it depends in which ct and which mechanic, some are by the hour and some are not, if the book says a cluch takes 3hours and they do it in 1, they get paid 3 hours. I have a buddy that works at the millwoods CT, he's the later, he used to work at the St.Albert and there he was straight hourly

thanks guys but i found out the damn car was a write off
