newaccorddriver
currently im trying to remove both axle nuts from my accord so i can finish doing my swap(well its the hardest part of it actually). right now i have an 18inch breaker bar and the 32mm axle nut. i tried standing on it and then jumping on it and it didnt move or anything, does anyone have any suggestions as to how i may be able to get it loose?

Try using a piece of pipe or something as a snipe on the end of the breaker bar. I had to stand on a 4 foot snipe to loosen mine.

Heat man
Use some kind of a torch, even a propane torch might give u an edge.
Just heat up the bolt for a wile than try with alot of might to get it off.

NO! Why would you heat a TORQUED bolt? You heat SEIZED bolts. Your axle nut is torqued to 130 foot pounds and over, depends on the manufacturer's specs. You won't get that off with anything short of a big 1/2" power bar and maybe even a snipe bar on the end of that. Or use an impact. DO NOT HEAT IT. It WON'T help you.

You shouldn't heat an axle nut not so much becuase it was torqued which it may or may not have been, but because most likely you well in the process cook your wheel bearing. Just cause someone torqued something doesn't mean it can't be seized. Every bolt is torqued either more or less then factory specs mind you.
