Anybody know any rental companies in Edmonton that will rent an SUV with a trailer hitch (must have trailer hitch)?
I don't want to rent from UHaul, cause they charge 50 cents a km. |

Have you tried the usual car rental places that offer unlimited mileage (Enterprise, etc...).
When I rented my last car, I saw an Envoy at Enterprise, so they might have a hitch..... |

I'm willing to bet no one in the city will give you unlimited mileage on a tow unit.
The other problem is demand for heavy duty trucks like that are really high right now and corporations will always get the available vehicles before an individual will. Calmont has actually stopped renting to individuals altogether right now because of the demand.
I work for Airways, and we only have 2 vehicles you can tow with. Ford F350 Crew Cabs and Ford Excursions. Both turbo diesels. The F350 is $115 a day and the Excursion is $125 a day. Both include zero kilometers and cost 28 cents a km.
And any SUV's smaller than the Excursion, we either get without a hitch, or we remove them so people can't tow. And that is fairly common in the industry.
