Hey everyone I have a set of Kei Office coilovers and I was wondering where would you recommend taking it to get a rebuild? If anyone has any good references please let me know. Thanks

I hate to say this, but you're probably gonna have to send them back to Japan to be rebuilt. Other companies with servicing here in North America won't want to service them because they won't know exactly how to revalve them to have the same damping characteristics. Unless KeiOffice has rebuilt capabilities here in N.A., which i really doubt. I could be wrong, but i seem to recall many others having this same problem with JDM coilovers that don't have rebuild service available in north america.
As an extra bonus, when you ship them to Japan you will have to wait longer, pay more for shipping, and then when they are shipped back the government will charge you GST and possibly other duty on them based on their monetary value  . This is something i will be experiencing as well in a couple of years.:( |

| I wonder if you can classify shipping the coilovers overseas and back as warranty items? If so, I think there are special exceptions for taxes and duty. |
