| Mopac on 170st has everthing you'll need. If you don't want to pay $5 a pop for the fancy hose clamps, go up the road to Greggs Distibutors. They have all the hose clamps you'll need.;) |

| when you check it out, can you tell me how much their piping is? |

| They wanted 20 bucks for a 180 degree mendral 2.5 pipe.Still need to buy a longer straight piece to cut up. |

most of their U-bend pieces are $22 or so until 3", then it goes up to $28 iirc.
i made all my fmic piping for like $80 at mopac
thats doesn't include my couplers and clamps though. just pipe |

| The piping is mild steel though,I would rather use aluminum and I found a place in the city that sells 2.5 for $490ft.And for the bends I'm going to use the silicone coupler bends depending on how much this other store will charge for a couple 90 mandrel bends. Also I'm going to use the aluminum for the CAI. |

| $490 a ft that is some pretty expensive piping. Where are you getting mandrel aluminum bends? |
|

| Sorry,I mean $4.90ft.I'm phoning tomorrow to see how much they will charge to bend a couple 2 ft lengths to 90's.A shop in Nisku has a mandrel bender. The one shop I phoned could only bend up to 2" so I will try this other one tomorrow. |

| What is the shops name? Let me know what sizes the other shop can bend up to. |

| I phoned and they said 2.5 aluminum would break but I thought you could get a certain grade that would be ok.But the supplier said that 90 would be to much but smaller bends would be OK.I dunno, more research needed! If it was mild steel no prob. |

Thats all I want for my application, but I want to use all aluminum.I was told that bending 2.5 aluminum to a 90 degree in his machine would just break. So I'll probably just use silicone 90's instead.Only this I was wondering is do they sell a BOV flange in aluminum so you can weld it to the pipe?? |
|
|
| 2003specv |
No, but just making a flange is easy. I made this one.

So an aluminum flange is not available so you just made your own?Do they have them in mild steel for easy weld applications or do you have to make them.?Do some BOV come with the flange or are they seperate??I need to buy and fab one up asap before I do any more mods with the IC. |
