The drift announcer today was HORRIBLE!!! People in the stands were yelling for him to just STOP!!! It was that bad. I am sorry but I just had to say something. End of rant.:dunno: |

okay that guy was soo bad,
he was like okay, now this is steve, hes brand new to drifting and we saw him spinning around in the autocross tryig to drift there, so we asked him to join our drift even and he said yes,
and he has a 222222forty ssssssx with the S R twenty D E T turrrrrrrrbo charggged motor
just like the silvia, it's basicly a silvia with out importing it and having to have the right hand drive
god that was anoying haha
i think it was teh same guy as ssc calgary, in calgary he was saying that andrea's 4dr blue skyline was superchargered lol |

I couldn't hear anything he said but I did hear 'Gerry in his homemade AE86' then I went to tear it up. I didn't get to hear much since I had my helmet on and everyone's tires were drowning him out.

| Actually I thought he did a pretty good job. I dunno what was expected of the announcer which you guys are being so critical? Did people expect that the announcer prepares for the event with detailed driver bios, and complete technical specifications of each competitors vehicles? For the most part I'm sure very few people know about the drifters, or about the cars so really it's pretty difficult to talk about the drivers and cars. |
