| we had an awesome turn out from the mr2 crew. sunil, ajit, jeff, jeff, heeter, heeter jr, felix, rob, jp. it was good to see. we couldn't have had better weather, i think it was close to 17 or 18. rob, jp and i raced, rob did very good, 3rd (would have been first) in his class, john with the '96 supra was first in his class. jp won runner up for best toyota, and john took top honors for that category. team win, well i could easily see Chinaman? racing (aka city stars) winning but we'll probably find out tomorrow. but all in all it was relly well run. |

sounds like fun.
on a side note, i went to the autoX with the rx7 guys at the army base today.
1st lap, i got over confident, oversteered and spun.
the rest of the laps, i went pretty good..for a 1st timer that is :D
i really think the 'snap-oversteer' is pretty much non existent, and brought on by bad drivers and bald tires.. I was pushing really hard trying to break out, but it didnt happen. handling was razor sharp, just point and shoot; really responsive. i need suspension work now. too much body roll. |
