| If a pothole does damage to a car can the city be held responsible for the damage? How would you go about claiming money from the city? through the insurance company and then they claim their money from the city? Also this pot hole was just filled in today and the road is still closed down due to the construction. It didn't do that much damge just scraped up the bottom of the bumper badly, which i was planning on painting with my own money but if the city can pay for it, why not?:dunno: :) |

Well first off you have to prove that it was the city's negligence that caused this. Since the pothole is already filled in and you haven't mentioned photos I think you're SOL.
If the city has the road marked for construction or anything to indicate that there could be road hazards you are also SOL. |

| If it works out, let me know. They can pay for the last 2 broken side skirts. |
